NARS Sheer Glow vs NARS Sheer Matte Glow

Today I went to Sephora to compare what the differences are between the NARS Sheer Glow and NARS Sheer Matte Glow foundations. I have to say that I like the Sheer Glow more than the Matte Glow. I really like the coverage, it gives me a satin finish. I find that the Matte Glow is a bit too thick and it takes a bit of effort to blend in; in-order to get a fuller and a nicer coverage.  I really don't know why they used Sheer, because between these two foundation that I tried on, I find that these foundation is pretty thick to begin with. I find that Matte Glow foundation is thicker than the Sheer Glow.  

Definition of Sheer:

transparently thin; diaphanous, as some fabrics: sheer stockings.

Would I personally invest in these foundations?  I like it but unfortunately it is not within my budget.  I personally don't invest on foundation no more than $40 something range.  I still have a couple of more foundations bottles that has not been used up yet.  After applying my foundation, I ended up using a LANCOME ÔSCILLATION POWER FOUNDATION to finish the touch up. I really like this powder that Michelle Phan used in one of her tutorial more than the NARS Foundation.  The powder helps it to lock in my foundation and gave me this flawless finish after buffing it. As you can see the picture that I posted below.
