In this post, I will be reviewing the Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturizer. I've been putting it on for a good use, when there are days I don't feel like wearing heavy foundation. I find this tinted moisturizer pretty hydrating as it stated, but without a good moisturizer it falls flat to me. You need to moisturize or prime your face before hand, otherwise wearing this foundation alone your face will look a bit dry. Also I notice that this foundation has pink undertones, but it's not that noticeable once you blend the foundation out on your face. I personally prefer pink undertones than orange undertones. Since I'm a lighter shade the orange pops out more, leaving it more noticeable like the Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer that I have tried several times. The Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer has a hint of orange undertones, making my face appear a bit orange. For the Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizer, I normally use that on summer days. During the summer time my shade appears a bit darker than the winter time, therefore I switch back and forth on my foundations.
What I like about the Clinique Moisture Surge Tinted Moisturizer:
- It is Hydrating, as I stated that you need proper moisturizer before hand or a primer.
- The foundation for this is lightweight.
- This tinted moisturizer isn't expensive, great for the price.
- I like the little bottle, and whenever I squeeze a small amount on the tip of the bottle, the bottle stays pretty clean.
